Ce chantier, men\u00e9 en un mois, doit am\u00e9liorer la mobilit\u00e9, soutenir le commerce local et accompagner la transformation de la capitale de l\u2019Ogoou\u00e9-Ivindo, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de la visite du pr\u00e9sident Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Makokou (Ogoou\u00e9-Ivindo). \u00c0 l\u2019approche des c\u00e9l\u00e9brations du 30 ao\u00fbt, la capitale provinciale de l\u2019Ogoou\u00e9-Ivindo affiche un visage renouvel\u00e9. Au c\u0153ur de cette transformation, un nouveau march\u00e9 municipal et une route d\u2019acc\u00e8s enti\u00e8rement am\u00e9nag\u00e9e s\u2019appr\u00eatent \u00e0 \u00eatre livr\u00e9s, quelques jours avant la visite du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pens\u00e9 pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des commer\u00e7ants et fluidifier les d\u00e9placements, cet ensemble d\u2019infrastructures est per\u00e7u par de nombreux habitants comme l\u2019un des changements les plus visibles qu\u2019ait connus Makokou ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le nouveau march\u00e9 municipal doit offrir de meilleures conditions de travail aux vendeurs, tout en renfor\u00e7ant l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique de la ville. Dans une commune o\u00f9 les infrastructures marchandes \u00e9taient devenues insuffisantes face aux besoins de la population, l\u2019\u00e9quipement est attendu comme un levier de d\u00e9veloppement local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur les lieux, l\u2019enthousiasme est palpable. Les commer\u00e7ants y voient la promesse d\u2019un espace plus fonctionnel, mieux organis\u00e9 et plus accessible. Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions de vente, le march\u00e9 devrait \u00e9galement favoriser les \u00e9changes entre producteurs, revendeurs et consommateurs de la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019une des principales nouveaut\u00e9s r\u00e9side dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une voie d\u2019acc\u00e8s reliant directement l\u2019axe principal au march\u00e9. Le projet pr\u00e9voit une route d\u2019environ 1,1 kilom\u00e8tre, dont pr\u00e8s de 250 m\u00e8tres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Large de 8 m\u00e8tres, la chauss\u00e9e est construite en b\u00e9ton de 15 centim\u00e8tres d\u2019\u00e9paisseur, pos\u00e9 sur une couche de lat\u00e9rite de 30 centim\u00e8tres, afin de garantir une meilleure r\u00e9sistance aux intemp\u00e9ries. Apr\u00e8s un mois de travaux, l\u2019entreprise en charge du chantier, Le Roi des Chantiers, se dit confiante quant au respect du calendrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour les riverains, cette route repr\u00e9sente bien davantage qu\u2019un simple acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9. Elle facilite d\u00e9sormais les d\u00e9placements vers plusieurs zones p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, notamment celles fr\u00e9quent\u00e9es par les p\u00eacheurs et les commer\u00e7ants qui s\u2019approvisionnent en produits halieutiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La transformation du site rev\u00eat \u00e9galement une forte port\u00e9e symbolique. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve aujourd\u2019hui le nouveau march\u00e9, les habitants se souviennent d\u2019un espace totalement diff\u00e9rent. Pour lui, cette m\u00e9tamorphose illustre la capacit\u00e9 de la ville \u00e0 se r\u00e9inventer. Il esp\u00e8re que cette nouvelle infrastructure contribuera \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un environnement plus favorable au commerce et \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9alisation du march\u00e9 et de sa voie d\u2019acc\u00e8s s\u2019inscrit dans la politique de modernisation des infrastructures engag\u00e9e par les autorit\u00e9s gabonaises. Elle r\u00e9pond notamment au troisi\u00e8me pilier du projet de soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat, consacr\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures et \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9lioration du cadre de vie. \u00c0 Makokou, ces investissements nourrissent l\u2019espoir d\u2019un d\u00e9senclavement progressif de la province, longtemps confront\u00e9e \u00e0 un d\u00e9ficit d\u2019\u00e9quipements publics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019inauguration prochaine du march\u00e9 ne marque toutefois qu\u2019une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape. Pour produire pleinement ses effets, l\u2019\u00e9quipement devra devenir un v\u00e9ritable p\u00f4le d\u2019activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique, capable d\u2019attirer commer\u00e7ants, producteurs et consommateurs. La nouvelle route, elle, devra garantir une mobilit\u00e9 durable, y compris pendant la saison des pluies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 quelques jours du 30 ao\u00fbt, Makokou offre ainsi l\u2019image d\u2019une ville en mouvement, o\u00f9 les infrastructures commencent \u00e0 traduire concr\u00e8tement les ambitions de d\u00e9veloppement affich\u00e9es par les pouvoirs publics.
